FRAGILITY OF EXISTENCE

Pauls work vacillates between reality and its virtual origins undecidedly never settling for one or the other.Although this work originates entirely from a computer the social observations are real. This current body of work parallels the ideas of the Russian constructivists. But in this instance the philosophy of social scientific progress is lost. Only the notion of despair and destruction is expressed through the architecture. Here we find the end of the ‘Metanarrative’ and the beginning of the age of uncertainty. Social upheaval and environmental disasters expose the fragility of existence and our dwellings.
